We are seeking a part or full time veterinarian for our well established and growing large animal (95% equine, 5% other large animal) practice. Located in the small town of Smithfield, Virginia with surrounding big city amenities of the Tidewater area, it is a wonderful place to live. We have fully equipped ambulatory vehicles enabling us to practice quality medicine utilizing digital radiography, endoscopy and ultrasound. We offer in house bloodwork and videoscopy. Caseload includes lameness, reproduction medicine and wellness care with a strong commitment to client communication. Our doctors are encouraged to develop areas of interest. We are also in the process of completing a 2,700 square foot, haul-in facility allowing us to refine our abilities to better treat our clients and patients. Our friendly, motivated, progressive, and caring staff will be happy to share their excellent technical support. This position requires limited night and weekend emergency call, on a rotating basis.
